About Karen
Karen Pirie learned property the hard way. In her twenties she was buying, renovating and selling her own homes, with her own money on the line, while racing mountain bikes at a level that saw her ranked sixth in New Zealand. She then built her sales career in newspaper advertising at Fairfax Media, where she was consistently among the top performers.
In 2003 she brought all three to Gold Coast real estate: a vendor’s instinct, an advertiser’s eye and an athlete’s nerve. With no family in Australia, she has spent the past 17 years raising two children on her own while building one of the region’s strongest prestige careers. Few people understand commitment the way she does.
Twenty two years and more than $500 million in negotiated sales later, Karen is among Amir Prestige’s top ten agents, specialising in prestige waterfront and premium homes across Southport, Paradise Waters, Main Beach and the wider 4217 and 4215 corridor. She has guided vendors through every market cycle on this coast. When buyers push, she holds firm. When a campaign goes quiet, she has seen it before and knows the next move. That is why most of her business comes from repeat clients and the people they send her way.
Karen leads a skilled team, so every campaign has the attention it deserves from first inspection to settlement.
Her results have been recognised widely. The REB ranked her the number two female agent on the Gold Coast, the Gold Coast Bulletin ranked her 14th in Queensland’s Top 60 Superwoman of Real Estate, and her record sales have featured on 7 News and Sky News.
Karen also writes The Private Briefing, her market intelligence letter for Gold Coast prestige owners. If you are selling the most significant asset you own, she will be the one in your corner who does not fold.
